Look for the 92 point 2008 HALL "Exzellenz" on the cover of the May 2013 Wine Enthusiast Magazine!

The folks at Wine Enthusiast chose our 2008 "Exzellenz" as an example of wine from the Rutherford subappellation and had this to say about the wine:
"Made from 100% Cabernet, this shows the tremendous richness and concentration of previous vintages of this wine, which was aged in 90% new French oak. Huge and flashy in cherry, blackberry and raspberry fruit, gorgeous, sumptuous, fat, although purists will insist it’s too much of a good thing. Hard to predict its longterm future, but the next six years are assured. 92 POINTS."

The 2008 "Exzellenz" is long sold out - your best bet to gaining access to future vintages is by becoming a Member of the HALL Wine Club.

Robert Parker's Annual Wine Review are out, and Antonio Galloni had some great things to say about the upcoming 2010 wines!

"Once again, I tasted a large number of wines from Hall this year. The 2010s are off the charts... A meticulous approach to vineyard and cellar work, including organic farming, native fermentations and malos, and the avoidance of fining and/or filtration informs wines of true pedigree and personality. The Hall wines are unapologetically big, powerful and exceptionally well balanced." -Antonio Galloni
