2005 Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon
The 2005 HALL Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon shows rich, concentrated aromatics of currant, blackberry, and ripe cherry complemented by hints of toasty oak. Flavors of leather and nutmeg coalesce with plum and vanilla in the concentrated mid-palate and settle into a seductive, chewy finish. This wine is ready to enjoy now and will continue to mature and evolve for the next 7 - 10 years.

2005 Napa River Ranch Merlot
Our Napa River Ranch is a very special vineyard that sits on the valley floor at the confluence of Dry Creek and the Napa River. The location allows us to dry-farm vines, resulting in small, dense berries loaded with flavor and complexity. Merlot vines thrive in this location and our Napa River Ranch merlot demonstrates what great fruit is produced. This vintage is crafted from our three best Merlot blocks, blended with a small amount of Napa River Ranch Cabernet Sauvignon. This wine is aged in our finest French oak and has been blended to be the boldest fruit-driven Merlot possible.

Aromas of fecund blackberry, spicy cedar, toast and flint waft from the glass. The mouthfeel is weighty from the start with luscious briar fruit, ripe cherry and toffee pressing straight through to a smooth, lingering finish. The soft tannins and firm weight will allow this wine to blossom over the next decade.
