Our debut offering of 100% Malbec hails from our Napa River Ranch estate vineyard. The tiny vineyard block of Malbec is a high-density, low-yield planting. Planting the vines close together promotes small amounts of fruit per vine and super concentrated berries which translate into richly structured wine. On it’s own, Malbec – typically a blending grape – engenders a wine with extraordinary personality and lavishly concentrated fruit with unprecedented mid-palate opulence.

An opaque purple ink color portends the dark fruit expression on the palate. Deep blueberry, black fruit jam, baking spices and black currant cascade across the luscious finish. We recommend enjoying this prodigious wine over the next 3-5 years.
