Diane Grimmeison considers herself very lucky to be able to combine her passions in life - photography, nature, travel and wine. Working in the beautiful Napa Valley has afforded Diane countless opportunities to photograph wine events, beautiful landscapes and the wildlife living in the area.
Diane converted from film to digital equipment seven years ago. She feels that digital technology offers the same control over the images once produced in the darkroom. While digital photography allows the subject to be manipulated, Diane’s images reflect what the human eye actually sees in nature and as a result, her photographs are not manipulated.
In addition to her photography, Diane is Executive Assistant to Ambassador Kathryn Hall. When not assisting Ambassador Hall, she is often found behind her camera capturing images at many HALL Wines events.
All of Diane’s images are hand-printed and signed using archival quality ink and paper, which are guaranteed to resist fading for over seventy-five years.
