Our HALL St. Helena winery, a historic Napa Valley winery originally founded in 1885, was long known as the Napa Valley Co-op, was one of the primary winemaking facilities in Napa for much of the last century.
Today, as HALL, a redesigned visitor center and tasting room welcome visitors with warmth and elegance. Guests to the winery can sample the portfolio of HALL wines, relax in arbor-covered courtyards, and take in the original works of modern art and sculpture from the Halls' personal collection. The winery is located just south of the town of St. Helena on Route 29 and is open daily from 10 am until 5:30 pm for public visits and tastings.
Private historic tours and rare barrel tastings of future bottlings are also available by appointment. Call 707-967-2620 or click here to arrange a tour and barrel tasting.
Now, Craig and Kathryn Hall are collaborating with acclaimed architect Frank Gehry and local architect Jon Lail to create a spectacular visitors’ center and state-of-the-art winery while meticulously restoring the historic buildings on the grounds. This unprecedented project will be completed in 2010 with construction progress to be posted monthly online.
The end result will house numerous pieces from the Halls extensive modern art collection and serve as a celebration of fine wine, art and architecture in a complex that is a vanguard winery and inspiration for the senses alike.
