2013 Rainin Vineyard Diamond Mountain District Cabernet Sauvignon
100 Points - Robert Parker, The Wine Advocate 99 Points - International Wine Review
The Rainin Vineyard, founded in 1998 by the Rainin family, is a bucolic, eight acre site located on the rugged volcanic slopes of Diamond Mountain. The vines are nestled amongst majestic pine forests and redwood groves.
The family's passion for the vineyard is reflected in their philosophy, "If it's not fun, we're not doing it." We hope you share their joie de vivre as you enjoy this singular expression of Rainin Vineyard Cabernet Sauvignon.

"This is provocative as well as prodigious Cabernet Sauvignon, that’s as good as it gets. This should drink well for 20 to 25 years and is a tribute to the incredible efforts and progress Kathryn Hall has made in such a short period of time. "
100 Points - Robert Parker, The Wine Advocate
"This Cabernet has intense aromatics of blackberry pie, crème de cassis, black tea, mocha, sagebrush and underlying hints of eucalyptus all coming together beautifully in the glass. There are gorgeous flavors of ripe black cherries, crème de cassis, mocha, anise, mint and graphite which are deeply layered on the palate ... Overall, this is an absolutely sensation wine from Hall and I expect this to continue to evolve gracefully for many years to come."
