"Svelte and juicy, with lively dark plum and boysenberry flavors that feature forest floor notes. Pastry hints on the rich, open-textured finish."

This wine is medium ruby in color with pronounced aromas
of red cherry, cranberry, wet stone, raspberry coulis
and baking spice. The wine has mouthwatering acidity
with notes of black cherry, dark plum, nutmeg and white
pepper. Sourced from three vineyards in the Sta. Rita Hills,
this wine showcases the expressive appellation.

Our Sta. Rita Hills Pinot Noir is crafted from a blend of vineyards that express the unique character of this region. From rolling hills to high elevation sites, the vines are exposed to fog and cooling ocean breezes. The resulting wine is rich, spicy and bursting with concentrated flavors.

Vintage Notes | Following a series of warm, early harvests, this year’s growing season returned to a slower rhythm, allowing grapes to ripen gently with deep flavors. Our growers spent the summer and fall manicuring the vine canopies to provide the grapes enough shade from the sun while also preparing adequate airflow to deter mold. When Mother Nature did throw a couple of unpredictable systems at us, we were able to weather the storms and harvest exceptional fruit! |
