How do I return my wine?
If you're not 100% satisfied with any of the wines you receive from us, simply contact us at (707) 967-2626 within a year of purchase and we'll happily send you a replacement.

What do I do if the wine I ordered is damaged?
Despite our best efforts to secure wine shipments, wine bottles are fragile and issues arise from time to time. Contact our member services team and we will rectify the situation quickly.

Are there any restrictions?
Please note that we will happily replace any wines purchased directly from the winery, given that they are still available; however we cannot replace wines purchased from other wine retailers or restaurants. In rare instances, we reserve the right to deny our return policy to customers who we suspect are attempting to abuse the policy.

Mount Veeder, located west of Napa and Yountville, boasts one of the longest growing seasons in Napa Valley. This is a rugged mountain terrain that sits well above the fog, and has well drained top soil with minimal water retention. Very tiny berries yield wines of great concentration and depth, with a broad and soft tannin structure.

Concentrated aromas of ripe, dark plum are underscored by hints of wild sage and subois. Plum notes carry through to the palate, and layer into soft, lush and opulent tannin. The finish boasts delicious, penetrating flavors of earth, black olive, and leather. This vintage of Mount Veeder is drinking beautifully now and will continue to evolve over the next 15-20 years.

Created by uplift from seismic activity and movement of tectonic plates some 12 million years ago, Mount Veeder is derived from ancient sea beds. These sedimentary soils are infused with the decayed remnants of the forests native to the area, which leads to a distinctively dark berry and exotic, wild mountain character. Because of the rugged, steep terrain of this mountain appellation, the yields are inherently miniscule, with tiny berries bursting with concentrated and densely tannic structures.

Vintage NotesThe winter of 2020 was warm and dry, setting off bud break and the growing season slightly earlier than usual throughout Napa Valley. It wasn't until the end of March that cold, rainy weather arrived, and the mild spring gave the vines a strong, early start. Moderately warm days held through the summer and early fall, allowing the fruit to ripen slowly and develop complex flavor and tannin balance, while maintaining fresh acidity. This vintage produced great wines that are concentrated, focused, and beautifully balanced.
