2020 HALL The North End Cabernet Sauvignon
Fresh and fruit-forward, this blend opens to aromas of marionberry and black cherry. The tannins are rich and supple, tightly wound with energy and a lift of bright acidity, carrying flavors of graphite and spicy oak. The finish is lengthy and laced with aromatic notes of nutmeg, dark fruits and florals.
This wine highlights esteemed vineyards in the “North End” of the Napa Valley, including vines grown in Calistoga, Northern St. Helena, and the mountainous appellations. The “North End” fruit shows a markedly rich and opulent side of Cabernet Sauvignon. Our blending efforts help to punctuate these characteristics in the final bottling.

|Vintage Notes||The winter of 2020 was warm and dry, setting off budbreak and the growing season slightly earlier than usual throughout Napa Valley. It wasn't until the end of March that cold, rainy weather arrived, and the mild spring gave the vines a strong, early start. Moderately warm days held through the summer and early fall, allowing the fruit to ripen slowly and develop complex flavor and tannin balance, while maintaining fresh acidity. This vintage produced great wines that are concentrated, focused, and beautifully balanced.|
