Can I book a tasting for 7+ guests?

For groups of 7 or more guests, we offer Private Experiences designed for an elevated and intimate Napa Valley wine tasting. These curated experiences provide a more personalized and luxurious setting for celebrations, corporate gatherings, and special occasions.

If you are visiting our HALL St. Helena winery, please complete the inquiry form on our website. For our HALL Rutherford location, a separate inquiry form is available. Our team will assist in creating a seamless and memorable experience.

Are walk-ins welcome?

Yes, walk-ins are welcome at HALL St. Helena Winery and HALL Palm Springs Tasting Room . Reservations are encouraged to ensure a comfortable seated tasting and personalized service, especially during peak travel seasons. If you are visiting HALL Rutherford , please make a reservation.

Can we purchase wine by the glass?

Yes. Guests may purchase wine by the glass and stroll the property while enjoying panoramic vineyard views and our renowned contemporary art collection. It’s a relaxed and sophisticated way to experience Napa Valley at your own pace.

Am I able to buy a bottle and enjoy it on the property?

Yes. Guests may purchase a bottle to enjoy on property. Bottle service is offered daily on a first-come, first-served basis (availability may vary). Relax in our scenic outdoor spaces and enjoy world-class Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon in a luxurious yet welcoming setting.

Is there food available to purchase with my tasting?

Yes. Homemade pizzas are available Monday–Friday from 12:30–2:30pm. Guests visiting the Member’s Lounge may also purchase artisan snacks such as curated cheese and charcuterie boards, thoughtfully selected to complement our Napa Valley wines.

What is the best tasting experience to book if it is my first time visiting?

The HALL Signature Tour & Tasting is our most popular experience for first-time guests. It includes:
• A walk through our state-of-the-art winery
• Insight into our award-winning Cabernet Sauvignon production
• A seated food and wine pairing in one of our elegant salons overlooking the vineyards

It’s an immersive introduction to what makes HALL one of the best wineries to visit in Napa Valley.

What is the difference between a tasting experience and a private experience?

Tasting experiences are curated, seated wine tastings for up to six guests, showcasing Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon and limited-production wines. Private Experiences are designed for larger groups or guests seeking a more exclusive and intimate tasting, with additional personalization and dedicated space.

If I buy wine after a tasting, will my tasting be waived?

Tasting fees are not credited toward wine purchases. If you become a member during your visit, tasting fees may be refunded or partially credited depending on the experience enjoyed.

Can we walk around the property after our tasting or tour?

Absolutely. Guests are welcome to relax and explore the property following their experience, capturing vineyard views, admiring art installations, and enjoying the serene atmosphere.

Are dogs allowed at the winery?

Yes — dogs are welcome at outdoor tastings in the Member’s Lounge and while walking the property with a glass of wine. Dogs are not permitted on the HALL Signature Tour & Tasting, Cab Collector Experience, or Platinum Experiences.

Can I bring my children?

Children are permitted in the Member’s Lounge when accompanied by a Member. Children are not allowed on the HALL Signature Tour & Tasting or other semi-private seated tasting experiences.

Are all tastings ADA compliant?

Yes. Our St. Helena tasting room and Historic Bergfeld Building are ADA accessible, with elevators available for guest use. Braille is included on outdoor signage and art installations.

If I am a Member, do I need a reservation to visit?

Walk-ins are welcome if space is available in the Member’s Lounge. Reservations are recommended to ensure the most comfortable and personalized tasting experience.

How do I make a reservation?

Reservations can be made through our website or by calling 707-967-2626. Booking in advance is recommended, particularly during peak Napa Valley travel seasons.

What if I need to change or cancel my reservation?

Please call 707-967-2626 to make changes or cancel your reservation. Our team will gladly assist.

Membership

How much does it cost to become a Member?

There is no cost to join Membership. Quarterly allocations for 2-bottle Primary Colors members average $190, and 2-bottle Collection Club members average $400.

When will my wines ship throughout the year?

Club allocations typically ship in February, April, September, and November, weather permitting.

Can I pick up my allocation from the winery?

Yes. Members may pick up allocations at any HALL Wines tasting room, as well as our partner locations across the portfolio, including Palm Springs.

Can I customize my allocation?

Yes. We simply ask that you keep half of the originally allocated bottles. Customization allows you to build a shipment around your preferred Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon and other limited-production wines.

How much will I be charged for shipping?

Shipping rates are based on bottle count:

2 bottles – $25
4 bottles – $28
6 or more bottles – $5 flat-rate shipping

We recommend building your allocation to six bottles to enjoy preferred member shipping.

Is there a minimum commitment?

There is no minimum commitment. You may cancel your Membership at any time without penalty.

How do I cancel my Membership?

Contact our Membership Team at 707-967-2631 or club@hallwines.com, or log into your account and navigate to “Wine Club Membership.”

How do I use my complimentary tasting benefits?

When booking online, ensure you are logged in with the email associated with your membership. If you experience any issues, our team will gladly assist.

Can I skip a shipment?

Members may skip one allocation per year while maintaining benefits. You may also pause your membership for up to one year.

Shipping

Where does HALL Wines ship?

Our wines are available for direct shipping within the United States. Due to compliance laws, we are unable to ship to the following states: AL, AR, DE, KY, LA, ME, MS, NJ, RI, UT. When will my order ship?

Most orders are shipped within 1-2 business days after processing. During extreme high or low temperatures, we may temporarily hold your order to protect it from damage in transit.

How will my order be shipped?

Orders are shipped via FedEx.

How long does shipping take?

Most Standard shipping orders arrive in less than 4 business days, often sooner depending on the destination. We utilize two fulfillment houses—one in Napa County and one outside Kansas City, MO—to reduce transit time. Priority shipping orders are delivered one day after FedEx picks them up (Monday–Thursday only).

How do I track my order?

Once FedEx scans your order, we automatically send an email with tracking information and an estimated delivery date.

How much is shipping within the continental US?

Ground shipping:
1-3 bottles: $25
4 bottles: $28
5 bottles: $30
6+ bottles: $5 flat-rate

Priority shipping:
1 bottle: $55
2 bottles: $60
3 bottles: $65
4 bottles: $70
5 bottles: $75
6-12 bottles: $35 (additional $20 for each case thereafter)

Can I pick up my order?

Yes. Online orders may be picked up at HALL St. Helena by selecting “pickup” during checkout. Some exclusions apply, including library wines, merchandise, and limited-production wines.

Do I need to be present when my wine is delivered?

All alcohol shipments require an adult (21+) signature. We recommend shipping to a business address, or rerouting to a FedEx hold location if you will be unavailable. Sign up for FedEx Delivery Manager to manage your wine delivery.

What happens if I miss the delivery?

FedEx will attempt delivery up to three times, after which the package is held at a local FedEx facility for 5 business days before returning to us.

What happens if I cannot pick up my order from FedEx within the required timeframe?

FedEx will return your package to us, and we will contact you to arrange for reshipment.

What if I receive a damaged or corked bottle?

Contact us, and we will replace damaged or corked bottles purchased directly from the winery within one year. We cannot replace bottles purchased at retail.
