The Kathryn Hall Cabernet Sauvignon is the pinnacle of our blending efforts each year. The exalted Sacrashe vineyard takes center stage, and is the basis of this blend. From there, we search out complementary vineyards, from the most regarded mountain appellations, to create balance, symmetry and finesse in the wine.

Deep, alluring aromas of black currant and black plum are layered with expressive notes of dark chocolate, espresso and a perfume of lavender. Supple, concentrated and seamless, the palate displays vibrant fruit with undertones of tilled earth and sea salt.

Nestled in the northwestern hillsides of Napa Valley, the Diamond Mountain District is sparsely planted, with fewer than 550 acres under vine. This warm hillside appellation is perfect for ripening Cabernet Sauvignon, the prevalent variety of the area.

Deep purple hue, this wine has inviting aromas of blackberry, star anise, leather, and dusty cocoa. The palate opens with a perfectly balanced acidity that plays off of the abundant dark fruit flavors. Hints of exotic spice, earth, black pepper, and a mineral note accompany the fruit flavors beautifully.

This wine incorporates choice fruit from vineyards throughout Napa Valley, from our organic estate vineyards to small rugged hillside sites of our partner growers. By blending these various lots, we create a rich panorama on the palate, a landscape of complexity and character that clearly depicts Napa Valley.

Deep ruby in the glass, displaying effusive aromas of crème de cassis, dark plum, anise and dried herbs. The palate is lush and layered with fine-grained tannin supporting flavors of dark berry, cocoa, and a hint of freshly turned earth.
