HALL "Segassia Vineyard™" Mount Veeder Cabernet Sauvignon
This rugged volcanic terroir has steep slopes and thin soils, resulting in distinctive wines with signature wild berry and spice avors, and intense structure.
The 15 acres of Segassia Vineyard™ is perched in the Mayacamas Mountains at a higher elevation than other parts of the historic Napa Valley wine growing region. The mountain's South-Eastward orientation, along with a combined mixture of seabed and rugged volcanic soils produce remarkably high quality grapes.
This rare wine is exclusively available to our Collection Members. For more information about the Segassia Vineyard™, visit www.segassiavineyard.com/
Nearly purplish-black in color, the 2009 HALL “Segassia Vineyard” Cabernet Sauvignon is teeming with ripe black fruit. Aromas of ambrosial blackberry preserves, lavender and dark chocolate bound from the glass. The palate is lush and structured, with layers of black plum, crushed violet, asphalt and black spice. Broad and muscular in its disposition, this wine will age effor tlessly for 20 years.
