Our 2020 Sonoma Coast Chardonnay opens with inviting aromas of juicy pear, creamy vanilla, lemon, honeysuckle, and a hit of nutmeg. The palate is plush and flavorful, with a rich and layered finish that is lengthened by fresh acidity.
The 20120 Sonoma Coast Chardonnay is comprised of fruit sourced primarily from the Bob's Ranch Vineyard, as well as the Sangiacomo Vineyard. Bob’s Ranch Vineyard is characterized by its proximity to the Pacific Ocean. Coastal breezes along with low rolling hills and morning fog define this cool climate. The Sangiacomo Vineyard is a certified sustainable vineyard, first planted in 1969. The block we source from is entirely "Old Wente" field selection. The proximity to the Pacific Ocean and San Pablo Bay makes this site ideal for growing Chardonnay.

|Vintage Notes||The season started out with an unseasonably warm, dry winter. It wasn't until the end of March that cold, rainy weather arrived, and the mild spring gave the vines a strong, early start. Even with above normal temperatures throughout the summer and fall, we still experienced the marine influence that defines the limiting conditions of our premium vineyard sites - cool morning fog and afternoon wind. The resulting wine is irresistibly fresh, fruity and brimming with appeal.|
