Dried Cherry Compote


¾ cup HALL Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon
⅓ cup Organic Cane Sugar
¾ cup Dried Sweet Tart Cherries
1 Cinnamon Stick


  • In a small saucepan, simmer the wine with the sugar until the sugar is dissolved.
  • Add the cherries and cinnamon stick, cover and simmer for 5 minutes or until the cherries are plump.
  • Cool compote to room temperature.  
  • Remove the cinnamon stick before serving.  

*Can be stored in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 1 month.
